Fresno · Clovis · Central Valley
Four thousand photos on your phone. None on your wall.
That's what I'm for. A relaxed golden-hour session around Fresno where your pet gets to be fully themselves, and you finally end up in the frame with them. Dogs, cats, seniors, and nervous rescues all welcome.

Why pets
I work with dogs for a living. The camera came second.
My day job is at the shelter here in Fresno, rescuing dogs and helping them find homes. Spend enough hours with nervous kennel dogs and you learn to read a dog fast: when to push, when to back off, and which pocket the treats live in. Turns out that's most of pet photography.
That's how I shoot every session: patient, on their level, waiting for the moment their personality shows up. It's also why every adopted or rescue pet gets 10% off, forever.

How a session works
- 01
Plan it together
Tell me about your pet: the zoomies, the quirks, the treat that always works. We pick a spot and a time with good light, usually the hour before sunset.
- 02
A relaxed session
No forced posing. We walk, play, and take breaks whenever your pet needs one. Shy pets get warm-up time; seniors set the pace.
- 03
Your gallery
A sneak peek within 48 hours, then your full edited gallery: high-resolution files with a personal print release, delivered online.
Prints & wall art
About that empty wall.
Your gallery comes with a built-in print shop: fine art prints, gallery-wrapped canvas, and framed pieces, printed by a professional photo lab and shipped straight to your door. Pick a favorite, choose a size, and the hallway finally gets its hero.

Hire a human
AI can make a picture of your dog. It can't take one.
There are apps that will render your pet as a royal portrait for five bucks, and sure, some of them are fun. But a generated image never happened. Nobody stood in the grass at golden hour, nobody said the magic word, and that perfect ear flop is just math's best guess at a dog.
A photograph is proof of an afternoon you actually spent together. Real light, real mud on real paws, every frame shot and then edited by hand, by a person who was standing there. The only AI in my workflow is generative fill, quietly erasing a leash or a trash can from the background. Book a session and you're not buying pixels, you're hiring an artist. Your walls will know the difference.

Proof I can shoot more than dogs
Pets are my specialty, but the camera doesn't know that. If something here is what you're after, inquire about a session and we'll talk.
Good questions
Pet photography in Fresno, your questions answered
How much does a pet photography session cost in Fresno?
Sessions start at $149 for a 30-minute mini session with 8 edited images. Instead of rigid packages, you choose how many photos you want and the price adjusts, so most sessions land between $149 and $549. There are no extra fees for shooting in-home versus outdoors, and adopted or rescue pets always get 10% off.
What areas do you serve?
I'm based in Fresno and photograph pets across the Central Valley. Sessions anywhere in Fresno or Clovis have no travel fee, and I regularly travel to Madera, Visalia, and the surrounding foothills for a small travel fee.
Where do pet photo sessions happen?
Wherever your pet is happiest. Favorites around Fresno include Woodward Park, downtown, and the orchards and foothills just outside town. In-home sessions are perfect for cats, senior pets, and shy dogs, and they cost the same as outdoor sessions.
My dog is nervous or reactive. Can you still photograph them?
Yes, and those are honestly some of my favorite sessions. My day job is at a Fresno animal shelter, so I spend every week earning the trust of anxious dogs. We go at your dog's pace, keep whatever distance they need, and take as many breaks as it takes.
Do you photograph cats?
Absolutely. Cats usually do best at home, where they feel confident enough to show some personality, so most cat sessions are in-home. In-home sessions cost the same as outdoor ones, with no travel fee in Fresno or Clovis.
When is the best time of day for a session?
The hour before sunset, golden hour, is the sweet spot for outdoor photos. During Fresno's hot summers we can shoot early morning or move indoors instead, so nobody is panting through their portraits unless it's on purpose.
Can I be in the photos with my pet?
Please do. Most people book a session for their pet, and then the photo they end up printing is the one of the two of them together. No posing experience needed; you'll mostly be playing with your pet while I work.
Do I get all the raw, unedited photos?
No, and I promise you wouldn't want them. For every keeper there are a dozen frames of blinks, blurs, and the back of someone's head. I go through everything from the session, pick the strongest shots, and edit each one by hand until it's worth printing, so your gallery is all keepers. Choosing and finishing the images is half the craft; the raw files are the flour, not the cake.
How soon do I get my photos, and can I order prints?
You'll see a sneak peek within 48 hours on most sessions, and your full edited gallery arrives in about one to three weeks depending on session size, with rush delivery available. Every gallery includes a built-in print shop with fine art prints, canvas, and framed pieces shipped straight to your door.
Something else on your mind? Just ask. I answer every message myself.
